In Menorca there are no motorways or dual carriageways, so remember to drive at the speed limit indicated on every road

  1. Me-1 Maó-Ciutadella Main Road: Major road that runs through the centre of the island, connecting these districts (Maó-Alaior-Es Migjorn Gran-Es Mercadal-Ferreries-Ciutadella) and their main tourism areas: Cala en Porter, Son Bou, Santo Tomás, Fornells, Cala Galdana, etc.

  2. Me-7 North Maó-Fornells: Runs through the northern part of the island and links up several tourism areas: Arbufera d’es Grau (Me-5), Favàritx (Cf-1), Addaia (Me-9), Na Macaret (Me-9), Arenal d’en Castell (Me-9), Son Parc and Fornells (Me-15).

  3. Me-8 Maó-Sant Lluis Road: Road connecting the districts of Maó and Sant Lluis and their different tourism areas: S’Algar, Alcalfar, Punta Prima, Son Ganxo-Son Remei, Biniancolla, Torret de Baix, Binibeca, Binissafúller, Cap d’en Font.

  4. Camí d’en Kane: rural track par excellence that starts in the district of Maó (Me-7) and ends near Es Mercadal. It owes its name to the mid-nineteenth century English governor Richard Kane, who ordered the construction of what is now known as Camí d’en Kane running from Saint Philip’s Castle to Ciutadella, now a quiet neighbourhood track with a rough surface that can still be driven along today.
